For today's post I managed to catch up with Jerry Gorman aka "Pop The Hatch." I actually got to play on the same night as Jerry when we both supported DZ, it seemed like when Jerry came on he stole the show fair and square and had the crowd screaming for more.

PopTheHatch (Jerry Gorman) - Is a DJ/Producer from Sydney, Australia. He started his musical journey at the tender age of 5 studying classical violin, however these days he spends most of his time crafting twisted, distorted basslines.
His original productions & remixes have gained support from some of the top DJ's in the world, receiving radio support on BBC1 & Australia's own Triple J. His dynamic dj sets have seen him play at some of Sydney's most prestigious clubs, supporting some of the worlds leading dubstep producers including Rusko(UK), Doctor P(UK) and DZ(USA), amongst others.
PopTheHatch has several tracks due to be released this year on labels, Top Billin (Finland) and Betamorph Records (USA), as well as many action packed live shows. Definatly an artist to look out for in 2011.
