This is an interview I've been itching to do for sometime, and I felt like a kid in a candy shop when they agreed to let me interview them for the blog. This duo is so massive they need no introduction, so without further ado check out what Bar 9 have to say about dubstep, the UK music scene and just how they get that sick sound we all love...

1. What does dubstep mean to you?

Beats and Bass

2. Describe the typical Bar 9 fan.

Up for it!!

3. Tell us about your name...how did you come up with it?

Long story........

7. If you could see any artist (alive or dead, past or present) in concert, who would it be?

Micheal Jackson amongst others.

8. Top five tracks to play live?

Not in any order Fu Manchu by Bassline Smith, Piano Tune By BAR9, What you Talkin About by Redlight, Let You Go by Chase & Staus Nero Remix & Our remix of Kickstarts by Example

9. What excites you most about making music? Making that killa drop that will smash up a rave.

10. What's next next for Bar 9?

We are working on a new EP which will be out early next year amongst various remixes.
