WOW, what a combination of musicians and turntablists! The Slew, made up of legendary DJ's Kid Koala and DJ Dynamite D together with the serious rock credibility of former Wolfmother members Chris Ross and Myles Heskett definitely struck a lot of the right chords...
This sound has us more excited than any we've heard in a while...their beats don't fuck around and they've got a live sound worthy of a whole host of rock greats. If you've been waiting for a band that colours outside the lines and makes up their own rules about genre, wait no longer.
They're covering more touring ground than prison escapees so keep an eye on their MySpace and run, don't walk to see them live if you get the chance.
